The Next Zelda Game Can Fix TOTK’s Wasted Story Opportunity

Helldivers 2 is getting its first major update next week. It's a new Warbond (Battle Pass) called Cutting Edge and adds new weapons and armor for players to try out. By the looks of things, the new weapons are focused on energy/laser armaments.

Xbox Game Pass has confirmed another day-one game for 2024 in the form of The Alters. The next title from award-winning developer 11 Bit Studios is still without an official release date, although the Polish company committed to bringing it to PC, consoles, and Xbox Game Pass sometime this year.

Denis Villeneuve’smovie adaptations of Frank Herbert’s seminal sci-fi novel, Dune, has become a cultural and commercial hit. That’s big for Team Hollywood, but I still have a hard time believing that Dune has done more for movies than it has for video games — so long as you ignore the kerfuffle over whether it influenced Star Wars.

Dune: Part Two is all about the rise of Paul “Muad’dib” Atreides, but that doesn’t mean it tells his whole story. Although has drawn attention for its apparent similarities to, one of the most striking similarities to date is more of an accident than anything else. is still in early access, but the amount of content already included clearly represents the makings of a solid game in its own right. Already a success on PC and Xbox, there have even been rumors that could come to other consoles as well, although there have been no such official announcements yet.

The climax of sees Ganondorf sacrifice his mind in a final attempt to reign supreme, but this isn’t the first time magic has left him without his mind. Throughout his many appearances in as both Ganondorf and Ganon, the King of Evil has found himself in a wide variety of circumstances, but he has always striven to attain power. However, not every scheme to empower him comes without its downsides, as exemplifies.

Pentiment players on Xbox have noticed that the game doesn't feature 120 frames per second (fps) like the PlayStation 5 version, but Obsidian Entertainment has confirmed it'll be added in a new patch.
