The Lord of the Rings Online has had a few events kick off this week, with the third attempt of its Combe Forester Event live this morning. Additionally, this week has seen the return of the Harvestmath festival in Middle-earth.
After first being shown off in the summer, with it originally supposed to launch in August, then September, the Combe Forester Event is now finally live in Lord of the Rings Online. The event takes place in the town of Combe, nearby Breetown, with players competing in various Foresting activities, whether it be chopping wood, skinning beasts and more. Players will earn Ribbons that can be used to unlock cosmetics, such as outfits, emotes and more. Additionally, the Forester Event also features a first look at the new Forester Tools as part of the upcoming crafting changes being made in Update 38 (i.e. Corsairs of Umbar).
The Combe Forester Event runs from now through October 22nd.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is out now on PC through the Epic Games Store. Set in the Fourth Age in Middle-earth, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is a survival/crafting game where players take on the role of a group of Dwarves. Check out the launch trailer below.
One of the beautiful things about our world is that plenty of places offer special items to those who want more than “just an experience.” For example, video games are an excellent way to have fun. But eventually, you put the games down and move on to something else. However, there are plenty of memorabilia and items that you can buy from those video game worlds that will stand out in your place and help you remember the games and characters more, even when you’re not playing their titles. Fans of Samus Aran have something to be excited about thanks to a pre-order that just launched.
With only hours separating us from the debut of The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria on PC (the PlayStation 5 version has suffered a last-minute delay to December 5th, while the Xbox Series S|X version won't land until early next year), we've got an exclusive interview with Game Director Jon-Paul Dumont to keep you busy until then.
is on the way, and many are wondering if it will be on Steam. The game is due to launch on October 24, 2023 on Windows and PlayStation 5, with an Xbox Series X/S release expected at some point in the first half of 2024. The crafting-survival title can be played both in single-player or with a party of up to eight players and will focus on the dwarves of Middle-earth during the Fourth Age, with the movies' John Rhys-Davies returning as Gimli.

If you've been keeping up with developer Free Range Games' upcoming base-building survival game set in J.R.R. Tolkien's landmark universe, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, there's a chance you caught an early glimpse at its world map.
Free Range Games’ The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will launch on October 24th for PC. Unfortunately, the PS5 version has been delayed to December 5th, both digitally and physically.
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria has gone gold, or Mithril, as the team announced this morning, ahead of its October 24th PC launch. The survival crafting title is also showing off its Dwarf creator, and unveiled that actor John Rhys-Davies will voice the role of Gimli, who summons the Dwarves to the Misty Mountains.
It looks like your adventure into Moria’s depths on PlayStation 5 will be pushed back until the end of this year. The Lord of the Rings has always had a strong fan base, but there has been a resurgence as of late. Thanks to the Amazon Prime series, fans have a prequel to the cinematic films with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. However, the more recent attempt to bring out a smash hit video game to capitalize on this newfound hype failed to deliver. I’m referring to The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which received terrible reviews from both critics and players. This is a title to avoid, and hopefully, the next title release for the franchise, The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria, won’t see the same fate.
Between Helltides, World Bosses, Legion Events, and more, keeping track of everything going on in Diablo 4 can be daunting. After all, that's a lot of moving parts to keep tabs on — especially when Blizzard adds new events for Seasons.
