Sony’s unexpected, last gasp announcements are continuing in earnest today, with confirmation that the previously announced PS5 cloud streaming is coming as a PS Plus Premium perk later this month. Depending on your region, you’ll be able to enjoy “supported” titles from the platform holder’s top streaming tier without needing to download them as soon as next week – and the functionality will extend to Game Trials, so you’ll be able to test out the time-limited demos effectively on-demand.

PlayStation 5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will launch on October 17 in Japan, October 23 in Europe, and October 30 in North America, allowing users to play PlayStation 5 games without having to download them, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.

343 Industries has released the launch trailer of Halo Infinite Season 5 titled Reckoning. It adds a new Battle Pass with Armor Cores, weapon skins inspired by the Flood and two new maps – Prism and Forbidden. The season goes live on October 17th – check out the trailer below.

Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, iOS via App Store, and Android via Google Play on October 16, publisher Raw Fury and developer Fury Studios announced. The iOS and Android versions are newly announced.
