The Finals Update 2.0 Makes Major Changes to The Game

Helldivers 2 releases a new and bigger update for players which brings new gameplay elements, balancing to missions and weapons, as well as general adjustments and quality of life tweaks. Responding to fan feedback over the slow rollout of all 12 Brave Weapons for Destiny 2 Into the Light, Bungie announces changes to its release plan and a few other gameplay related tweaks. As Season of the Wish rolls on, all eyes have turned to a unique new event coming to Destiny 2 called Into The Light. Over the past couple of weeks, Bungie has given fans a good look at what they can expect from this event once it launches on April 9.

Arrowhead Game Studios warnsHelldivers 2 players to stop throwing snowballs during matches as using the items can cause the game to crash. The co-op shooter continues to be a massively popular title, thanks in large part to the ever evolving galactic war. Through major orders from the game master known as Joel, players are dynamically altering the Helldivers 2 battlefield, pushing back enemy factions or sometimes losing planets as well.

Larian Studios releases hotfix 23 for Baldur's Gate 3, which aims to continue improving the player's experience by addressing various bugs, crashes, and other oddities. It's been a bitter-sweet week for fans of the massively popular RPG, as Larian Studios boss Swen Vincke confirmed that Baldur's Gate 3 isn't getting any expansions, DLC, or even a sequel. The studio instead intends to move on to new projects, with many speculating that the popular Divinity series could be Larian's focus going forward.

Embark Studios releases update 2.2.0 for The Finals, adding a special variant game mode of Power Shift called Bunny Bash, balancing a variety of weapons, while also fixing many remaining bugs. Following the massive changes from the Season 2 update for The Finals, Embark has continued to release new updates on nearly a weekly basis for the online shooter.

Epic Games releases update 29.10 for LEGO Fortnite, bringing new vehicle builds, custom designs, new crafting tools, as well as bug fixes as well. The Mechanical Mayhem update follows suit with another recent LEGO Fortnite patch earlier in March which added Kit Bundles to the experience. Using prebuilt designs, players could essentially purchase new building designs like Beachside Boulevard or Durrr Burger to spruce up their map.

Embark Studio releases Update 2.1.0 for The Finals, further fleshing out the Private Match mode, fixing a ton of recent bugs, and making other general improvements to the rest of the game. Season 2 of The Finals has seemingly given new life to Embark's online shooter, a game which saw massive growth out of the gate but had started to experience a lot of drop off from players. However, season 2 provided a big refresh to the core experience, and so far, seems to be a hit with fans.

After teasing the return of MIdas, Fortnite's latest update not only brings the villain back to the popular battle royale, but a new event filled with quests, rewards, and the arrival of a popular game mode. It's been a busy season already for the massively popular battle royale, though that is nothing new as Epic Games has made sure to keep Fortnite updated and evolving on a consistent basis.
