Now that we have been hearing news about Nintendo gearing up to release their next-gen handheld console in 2024, it was only a matter of time before people started wondering what games we could expect. As recently as earlier this year, publisher Nacon and developer Teyon were saying that the upcoming first-person shooter RoboCop: Rogue City would eventually also be coming to the Nintendo Switch, even if a release date for that version hadn’t been confirmed. However, with the game now just a couple of weeks again from releasing for other platforms, Nacon has confirmed that, as some may have feared, plans for a Switch version of the title have been shelved.

The upcoming survival gameLord of the Rings: Return to Moria has gone gold, meaning it’s very close to the end of its production cycle and almost ready for release. But, to coincide with the setting of the game, the development team Free Range Games has referred to this process as going “mithril.”

Platform fighter Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has been delayed both digitally and physically, publisher GameMill Entertainment announced on Tuesday. The digital release has been pushed to November 7, while the physical version is going all the way back to December 1.

Earlier this year, Kinetic Games announced that its acclaimed multiplayer horror title Phasmophobia would be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PS VR2 soon, though the wait for that has dragged on a little longer than expected. Well, I didn’t have this one on my Season of Blood bingo card. Season 2 of Diablo 4 was supposed to launch, well, 10 minutes or so ago. Ubisoft has announced that it is delaying the kickoff of the preseason for upcoming shooter XDefiant. As you might expect, the delay of the preseason also essentially means that the game itself is being pushed back, since the preseason would basically be the launch period of the game before it kicks off its first season.
