Why The Nintendo Switch 2 Could Be A PS5 Killer
Along with a hopeful release date in the fall of 2024 for the next console, a Nintendo blogger named Zippo has reported that some games seem more likely than others. In their article, Zippo also mentions a discussion on the gameboard forum about potential games for the Nintendo Switch 2 and games that fans hope to see on the next-gen console.
A few games seem likely, such as a new 2D Donkey Kong game for the new console. According to Zippo, Nintendo has been working on a new Donkey Kong game and finished developing it before the end of 2021. Nintendo has been holding onto it for a 2024 release with the next console. It would be perfect, considering there has yet to be a new 2D Donkey Kong game since Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze in 2014.
