Cities: Skylines II developer Colossal Order has a uniquely close relationship with its community. The original Cities: Skylines came out in 2015 and gobbled up the audience that was left behind by EA’s SimCity, which came out in 2013 and was a busted mess. Cities: Skylines scratched that urban-planning itch, plus it cost just $30. The game came first to PC, Mac and Linux with modest hardware requirements, and it hit consoles within two years. Critically, Cities: Skylines also supported mods through the Steam Workshop, allowing players to add their own tools to the game and share those features with others.
Tennis series Top Spin returns with TopSpin 2K25

2K is bringing back its tennis series Top Spin with a new instalment, TopSpin 2K25.
It's been 13 years since the last game in the series, Top Spin 4, was released on the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and Xbox 360.
TopSpin 2K25 was announced yesterday, in conjunction with the opening day of the main draw at the Australian Open. Check out the first trailer below.

2K says TopSpin 2K25 is «coming soon», but there's no word of a release date. Information on when the game will be out, which platforms it'll be on, and what fans can expect is yet to come. The game is being developed by 2K and Hangar 13.
A Top Spin revival was rumoured to be in the works in May 2022, following layoffs at Hangar 13. If the title is anything to go by, it looks like the series may be rebooted as a yearly franchise.
Top Spin 4 is widely beloved by fans of the series, and we were quite impressed with it in our review from 2011.

Publisher 2K revealed Tuesday that TopSpin 2K25 will arrive soon, pairing the announcement with a teaser trailer. The development also comes in the heels of the ongoing Australian Open, capitalising on the tennis fever the first Grand Slam of the year brings with it. TopSpin 2K25 will be helmed by Hangar 13, the 2K-owned studio behind the recent Mafia games. 2K have not specified a release date or a window, with the game slated to be “coming soon.” With the 2K25 moniker, however, one can expect a release sometime later this year, as is the norm with other 2K sports game franchises.
