Tekken 8 Patch 1.02 Out Now on PS5, Adds Cosmetics DLC Shop and Adjusts Characters | Push Square

Rarely a day passes without a deluge of discounts on the PS Store these days, and another 50 or so offers have been unloaded on to the storefront ahead of the weekend. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth update 1.020 is out now on PS5, bringing new graphics options and improvements to visual quality in general.

Bandai Namco has unleashed raw gameplay footage for upcoming brawler Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and boy does it have potential. A true successor to the Budokai Tenkaichi games gives Dragon Ball FighterZ a run for its money in the visuals department, and it quite clearly captures the insane action of Dragon Ball.

The days of developers pushing for native resolutions feel like they’re coming to an end. The reality is that it’s a waste of resources, especially as upscalers like DLSS (or Deep Learning Super Sampling, to give it its full name) get better and better. It’s no surprise Sony is exploring similar technology with PS5 Pro, and it looks like this is all part of a long-term plan which will eventually expand to PS6 as well.

MLB The Show 24 may not be the best-looking sports game on the market anymore, but San Diego Studio continues to lead the field by pushing the boundaries of the genre overall. This year’s release may feel largely familiar when you’re at the plate, but the expansion of narrative-based experiences in the Storylines section demonstrates how the first-party developer is evolving elsewhere.

The Alone in the Dark franchise is no stranger to attempted reboots and revivals, and we’ve got another one of those on our hands now. Developer Pieces Interactive and publisher THQ Nordic’s Alone in the Dark, an expanded reimagining of the series’ first instalment, is out now for PC and consoles. The much-anticipated 1.6 update for Stardew Valley is finally out now on PC. As part of the update, a host of new content has been added to the game, including a major new festival, new mini festivals, an environmental event, a new skill system for the endgame, and a new farm type, among many other features. Pentiment developer Obsidian Entertainment has pushed out a new PS5, PS4 update for the historical title that fixes its comically blunt Platinum Trophy name. Formerly named just «PlatinumTrophy», unlocking the final reward will now grant you a gong called «Historia Tassiae». Patch 1.3 also tweaks the PS5, PS4 home screen icon from a close-up of Andreas' face to the black and orange key art.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink will take a PS5, PS4 patch today that bundles a new late-game quest into the RPG, and makes some microtransactions available on the PS Store. On the Proud difficulty option, a new quest titled The Final Vision will allow you to battle Lucilius alongside Supreme Primarch Sandalphon. This updates the game to version 1.1.0, with two more content drops planned for April and May that will add more playable characters.

Along with announcing a release window for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and showcasing the new combat system, SNK outlined several other roster members. Rock Howard and Terry Bogard have already been confirmed alongside Joe Hisashi and Andy Bogard. However, there’s a new fighter arriving with two veterans. Check it out below.
