The Elder Scrolls Online is officially ten years old today. Its original PC release came on the 4th April 2014, and the PS4 version arrived just over a year later, in June 2015. As we all know, keeping a live game going for even just a couple of years can be difficult, so to reach an entire decade is incredibly impressive.

Dragon's Dogma 2 dropped to impressively high review scores last month, earning Capcom yet another hit with critics — but now that it's been out for a little while, we want to know what you think of this open world RPG. Indeed, player opinion seems to be a bit more divided, although we're well aware that some people have been waiting 12 years for this sequel, and that fact might have counted towards heightened expectations.

CD Projekt RED has essentially committed to none of its future single player games featuring microtransactions as the Polish developer states it doesn't «see a place for microtransactions in the case of single player games». The studio's CFO Piotr Nielubowicz said as such in an investor's chat via StockWatch.pl, but the micro-purchases are something the team could explore for online experiences: «We do not rule out that we will use this solution in the future in the case of multiplayer projects.»

MLB The Show 24 is the latest baseball simulation by PlayStation Studios developer San Diego Studio, inspired and influenced by the 2024 season of Major League Baseball, which will run from 20th March, 2024 through 29th September, 2024. While we’re enormous fans of Train Sim World 4 and Dovetail’s entire railway simulation series, we’ve often criticised its overemphasis on British, American, and German routes. Fortunately, it looks like the release is poised to receive its first Japanese add-on, in the form of the Tadami Line, in-development at external studio Union Workshop.
