Rarely a day passes without a deluge of discounts on the PS Store these days, and another 50 or so offers have been unloaded on to the storefront ahead of the weekend. These discounts will be valid until 27th March, so you’ve got a few days to decide what takes your fancy and why. Please note, these deals are exclusive to PS Plus subscribers.
We’ve included some of the highlights below:
As always, we’ll update with US pricing as and when it becomes available. In the meantime, refer to the full list of offers and let us know what you’re buying in the comments section below.
As the Editor of Push Square, Sammy has over 15 years of experience analysing the world of PlayStation, from PS3 through PS5 and everything in between. Chants of Sennaar is a great puzzle game, definitely worth nabbing that if you're interested.
I used to always check out the sales until I realised 95% of the games arent discounted, they are just reflecting their real life value. The scam is when there is a game that's like 5 years old and psn has its «real» value before the discount at like 69.99
@Blaze215
Exactly this. Everytime there is a “sale” I go to my wishlist. The prices are just dropped to the same “sale” price every time (which I have obviously already decided is too high). There is no gradual drop over time as with physical games. Due to U.K. law they cannot have a constant “sale” price listed so, periodically, prices are increased back to “normal” (read “ridiculously high”) levels. It’s very rare that there is actually a price drop, just periodic price rises.
@thefourfoldroot1
Buddy I can't buy every single game on my list every single time.
If I had one chance to buy everything I want in a sale I'd have a couple games.
I miss sales, I skip sales and I often wait for the next sale, because the timing is not right for me. It's a good thing that they get discounted regularly.
Something like the Arkham collection goes for 7 bucks on sale. Do you really expect that to go any lower?
Skull Bones still 46 to go down
@Specky I actually bought the Arkham collection last month on that sale, that's one of the 5% that's actually a good deal

Outspoken Tekken 8 director Katsuhiro Harada has made a bold claim that is unlikely to ruffle any feathers in the broader audience: younger gamers prefer team-based games because they can blame, at least partially, any losses on their teammates rather than having to take sole responsibility for losing on themselves.
Reports from some familiar faces suggest that Sony still has some «smaller» PS5 exclusives set for the tail end of 2024. Insiders and various industry types agree that they'll likely be seen at next month's rumoured PlayStation event. The consensus seems to be that the long-awaited Silent Hill 2 remake will be one, and the rumoured standalone Astro Bot game will be another.
Well, BAFTA was clearly looking for headlines with this news, and boy has it got them! The British Academy of Film and Television Arts recently hosted a poll asking people to vote for the most iconic video game character of all time — and the results are, to be frank, shockingly inept (but obviously quite interesting).
In response to the high volume of requests for its inclusion, Tekken 8 director Katsuhiro Harada has made perhaps the inadvisable decision to ask fans why they want a Waffle House level added to the game. For the uninitiated or the international, Waffle House is an American restaurant chain, with most of the company's 1,900 US stores located in the midwest and south of the country.
Sony president Hiroki Totoki will today step into his new role as PlayStation CEO following Jim Ryan's retirement after a more than 30-year tenure at the company. While retaining his duties across the wider business, Totoki's main objective will be to aid the search for a true successor to Jim Ryan while defining «the next chapter of PlayStation's future».
The PS5 remake of Silent Hill 2 has taken one step closer to its reported 2024 release as the ESRB has handed the title a Mature age rating. Generally awarded near the completion of a game's development, the USA firm warns of blood and gore, language, sexual themes, and violence throughout the experience from Bloober Team. A trailer published by Sony at the start of 2024 pegged Silent Hill 2 with a 2024 release window, and this new update could signal that's still on the cards.
The monthly PS Plus Essential update has arrived, granting all members of Sony's subscription service access to three new PS5, PS4 titles. They're available to download now across the UK and Europe, and availability will spread to the USA later on in the day. Here's what can be redeemed between now and Tuesday, 7th May 2024:
Young Horses, the studio behind the PS5 launch title Bugsnax, has announced it's turning the indie hit into a card game. The developer requires $15,000 of funding on Kickstarter to make it a reality, with orders currently being accepted from the USA. The team plans to begin shipping the card game in October 2024 for those supporting the campaign, and then international orders will be accepted roughly one month later.
There's been a lot of chatter about this Stellar Blade demo recently. First, it was released accidentally, and although Sony took it back down pretty quickly, it wasn't fast enough to stop a few people playing and sharing footage online. So, we knew a demo was coming, and it wasn't much later that we got official confirmation. Now, the time has come: it's available to download and play right now on PS5. Those in the US can click here, and it's here for UK readers.
A US judge has ruled that Sony did not infringe on another company's patented technology with its PlayStation hardware, specifically in regard to how consoles and controllers communicate.
Close to a colossal 4,000 PS5 and PS4 games are on sale in Sony’s epic Spring Sale, which is rolling out at the time of writing and scheduled to run through 24th April. A second phase of deals will be added to the current crop on 10th April, potentially making this one of the biggest PS Store promotions in history.
