While the game may not look too different from past entries in the series, Tekken 8 comes with a lot of new features that can help you get better at the game. Alongside the enhanced Replay features, which provide players some tips on how to improve their gameplay, the latest entry in the series features Ghosts, fighters who recreate the fighting style of real players with the power of AI.
While you will face AI Ghosts randomly in single-player modes, there's only one mode that allows you to continuosly face Ghosts - Super Ghost Battle mode. Here's how to unlock this mode.
To unlock Super Ghost Battle mode in Tekken 8, you will need to play Arcade Quest mode up until a certain point. During this mode, you will travel to various arcades together with your friends, and you will be able to access the World Map as soon as you clear the mode's first arcade. Eventually, you will find the Final Round arcade in the lower right part of the map. This arcade is not part of the Arcade Quest story, so head over there as soon as it becomes available to learn everything there is to know about Ghosts and to unlock Super Ghost Battle mode.
Unlocking more Ghosts in the game to have more opponents to practice against is a matter of simply playing the game. Data is gathered by fighting the named NPCs in Arcade Quest mode or by fighting against real opponents in the game's online modes. In case there's one player you really want to practice against, you can access their profile and download their Ghost directly with a dedicated option. To fight them, talk with their avatars in Super Ghost Battle mode and press the Triangle or the X button.
