Starfield has a pretty decent range of clothing for all you fashionistas out there, but every now and then you'll spot an NPC wearing a particularly attractive suit or outfit that puts your own threads to shame. If you were playing Skyrim, you could simply get into your best sneaking position and attempt to undress the person where they stand, but Starfield has no feature that allows you to swipe the clothes that NPCs are wearing. Even murdering them doesn't let you take the clothes off their body.
Fortunately, one Starfield player was determined to swipe the clothes off of NPCs and has actually come up with a solution. It's a bit convoluted and requires a fair amount of prep, but if you pile enough points in the Social skill tree and unlock the Manipulation skill, you can go around stealing the clothes off of anyone you like, but only if you're willing to murder them.

First discovered and shared to the Starfield subreddit by u/Zorping, you can use Manipulation to get a nearby NPC to "Inspect" the body of a person you've killed. Doing so will transfer all of the items on that person to the NPC, including the clothes they were wearing. After that, you can then murder the person that you used Manipulation on to loot their belongings, which includes the clothes of the first person you killed.
Like I said, it's pretty convoluted, and requires you to commit a double homicide just for some fancy clothes, but the option is there if you're desperate. In fact, you can even reduce some of the danger by using a little trick that lets you kill people without getting yourself arrested. It was discovered earlier this month that if you pick up and bash a guard or NPC over the head with a random item hard enough, it will actually do damage to them without aggroing them. Eventually they'll die, and you'll have gotten away with murder in broad daylight.
Armed with this knowledge, you're now free to murder and steal clothes in peace, without the risk of being thrown in jail. Just be aware that you won't be able to do this with essential quest givers, seeing as they won't actually die no matter what you do. There are plenty of mods out there for that kind of thing though, so don't let your murder spree end early.
In other Starfield news, a very dedicated player set out to showcase exactly what the game's outpost building tools are capable of, by putting together an absolutely massive factory that included a base made up of 3,000 floor mats.
