Starfield Players Discover Halo Easter Egg

The Grand Theft Auto series is full of weird and wonderful Easter eggs, ranging from movie references to spooky apparitions, but you'll struggle to find one stranger or mysterious than the interchangable moon from GTA: Vice City.

Some of the best Easter eggs in The Witcher 3 and/or Cyberpunk 2077 apparently haven't been found yet, according to CDPR narrative lead Marcin Blacha. 

A Starfield player has successfully accomplished one of the weirdest runs we've heard of yet - finishing the game by only whacking enemies with their gun.

Super Mario RPG's recently released Switch remake is a lovely thing, freshening up a much-loved classic for a new generation, while ensuring its core remains faithful enough that it can deliver a wonderful blast of nostalgia for long-time fans. And it turns out that faithfulness runs deep, with players having discovered it restores a fun little easter egg that was cut from the original version during the localisation process for release outside of Japan.

Starfield lets spacefarers battles enemies with both guns and melee weapons, but it also allows players to bash their foes with their gun. And it appears not everyone knows about this, as inadvertently revealed by the YouTuber Causal Loop, who  completed the game's main using only the butt of his weapon.

The scale of is nothing to sneeze at, but among all of its varied planets and ecosystems, one particular feature doesn't crop up very often. Rather than featuring a smaller number of bespoke planet designs, uses procedural generation to handle most of its environments, taking a similar tack to the space-faring adventure game Some aspects of this system are ultimately impressive, while others can feel repetitive or underwhelming after exploring enough planets that share similar elements and lack stand-out charms.

Baldur's Gate 3 is flooded with little secrets and hidden dialogue. Despite the fact the game's been out for months, I'm still seeing players discover hidden exchanges, tucked behind weird progression orders and specific origin stories. Spoilers for the true identity of the Dark Urge lie below.

Despite the 1,000 explorable planets and seemingly endless side quests, Starfield’s universe can sometimes be extremely narrow. I mean that literally. The corridors in several space stations and ships are normally wide enough to fit only one person, which obviously leads to issues when you have fellow friendos following you. And now players have one simple request to crew mates: move out the dang way.

An intrepid Starfield explorer has reported the discovery of a unique breed of alien predator that suffocates its prey by sucking oxygen from the local atmosphere.

Starfield still has quests that can't be beaten, with bugs preventing key events in the questline from taking place. This is according to players online, who are sharing the side quests they've been unable to complete, often due to NPCs not spawning as intended.

It's been two months since Starfield released, and players are starting to take notice of the RPG's surprisingly PG-13 approach to a galaxy reeling from a destructive war - especially in light of its Mature rating.
