Starfield becomes Dishonored as literal space ninja uses every stealth trick in the book to carve their way through Spacers

A Chromebook is not necessarily just a Chromebook anymore. Google, in concert with four of the major system OEMs, is introducing a new, special tier of the web-centric laptops today.

Starfield stores some of its most intriguing riches and best loot behind locked doors, which require a futuristic lockpick known as a digipick to open. But what if you need practice at the mechanic, but you don’t want to burn through your store of valuable digipicks? Or what if you’re on the go, and you yearn for the simple joy of unlocking a space door? Afan named BB-dev created an open source digipick simulator to scratch that itch.

In time-honoured Bethesda game tradition, Starfield players are using objects found in the game world to play Dominoes.

Starfield update 1.7.33 has arrived with a small cargo load of performance and stability improvements, as well as an economy-saving exploit fix that cheesy players will be less happy to see.

The biggest fast food chain in Starfield’s vast universe is called Chunks, a company that renders every food item you can think of into a literal cube. One fan has now made the valiant effort of recreating “almost” every item on the Chunks menu in real life. 

During the E3 presentation in 2018, Bethesda took to the stage and teased an open-world RPG set in space and called it Starfield. It would be the first IP developed by Bethesda in over 25 years. After years of anticipation, the developer finally launched Starfield on September 6 exclusively for the Microsoft Xbox and Windows. Despite not even one month elapsing since it was launched, Starfield is already being lauded as the game of the year by many, with high critic scores and rave reviews from players.

Starfield patch 1.7.29 is live in the game alongside word from Bethesda about upcoming player-requested features in the space RPG game. With Starfield mods already attempting to fill in the gaps on issues like Nvidia DLSS support and an in-game FOV slider, it’s great to see Bethesda promise to deliver these itself.

Starfield gives its players a lot of stealth tools and one player has used them all to make the game play like Dishonored. By combining the best powers, weapons, skills, and armor, this player has made Starfield look like Dishonored in space.

I like a good Star Destroyer or X-Wing as much as the next guy, and while there've been great renditions of them in Starfield's ship builder—some which we've highlighted already—I'm endlessly curious about which obscure rust buckets people love enough to recreate.

Bethesda has discussed its decision not to include ground vehicles in Starfield — at least, not at the game's launch.
