Starfield animated videos show off its retro space vibe

A leaked promo video for Google's upcoming Pixel 8 was shared on the platform formerly known as Twitter late Friday that seemingly revealed a new feature for the device: “Audio Magic Eraser.”

Rumors that Sony was prepping a new model of the PS5 in 2023 have been swirling for some time. While this version of the console has been unofficially dubbed the “PS5 Slim,” various insiders in the know have disputed whether it would actually be much smaller. Instead, the main goal of the new console design is to eliminate the 2-SKU approach (without and without a Blu-ray drive) currently seen with the PS5. This new PS5 would instead have a detachable drive you’d buy separately, allowing Sony to sell only one base SKU. Of course, Sony is also very likely to make some changes under the hood to decrease manufacturing costs ect.

Have you ever witnessed a meteor shower? Well, you can witness one now, and that too the best one of them all! Called the Perseid meteor shower. It will be at its brightest on August 12. According to NASA, a meteor is a space rock that comes into Earth's atmosphere. As it falls, the air makes it really hot because of the friction. The bright streak we see is not the rock itself, but the hot air around it. When many space rocks hit the atmosphere over Earth together, we call it a meteor shower. These meteors are small, fast and bright, leaving trails of light and color behind them as they move through the Earth's atmosphere and get burned up.

I've been bolting together some ideas for a longer Starfield feature and while plying the sliplanes of Reddit, stumbled on this conversation about the game's handling of time. As many of you will know/be very weary of hearing, Starfield features hundreds of planets, together with moons and space stations, scattered around the galaxy in different solar systems. Real-life planets, of course, aren't fixed points: they rotate and orbit their stars at the different speeds, depending on their mass and distance, which means that days, nights and seasons have different durations.

Soulslike fans may not be getting another entry in the genre with From Software's Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, but Lords of the Fallen is soon coming to quell their hunger.

Starfield is one of the most anticipated video games released this year. It’s exclusive to the Microsoft PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms as well. So this should hopefully be a huge success for the Xbox team, especially after their less-than-stellar release of Redfield. While the developers and Xbox are hoping this title does well when it launches into the marketplace, they have continued to market the upcoming release. Today a new tweet from the official Starfield Twitter account highlights one deadly enemy you don’t want to be caught off guard with.

Upcoming tactical CRPG Dark Envoy caught my attention when it was announced last year, mainly because it has the undeniably cool combo of high fantasy magic and steampunk firearms. Casting you as a refugee adventurer, you’ll be shooting and/or spell-flinging across the war-ravaged world of Jäan, and you can even bring a friend along for the ride in co-op. We already knew all that good stuff, but the developers have now released a new video that delves deeper into the game’s classes and specialisations. Take a look below.
