Sony recently started sharing information on the PlayStation 5 Pro specs with third-party publishers, judging from a recent report of a well-known insider.
Starfield AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation Comparisons Highlight Solid Performance Enhancement With Limited Impact on Visuals

New Starfield AMD FSR3 frame generation comparison videos were shared online today, highlighting how AMD's tech has made important strides since its debut last year.
The first comparison video, put together by MxBenchmarkPC, highlights impressive performance gains at 1440p resolution on an RTX 3080 GPU over XeSS 1.2 and DLSS 3.5 (Super Resolution only, as Frame Generation is not supported on the 3000 series cards) with minimal impact on the visuals. The performance gains are pretty much in line with the FSR3 mod that was released late last year.

Starfield's AMD FSR 3 frame generation brings considerable performance improvements even on low-end GPUs, as highlighted by the comparison made by 54 FPS, although the input delay going from below 30 to around 60 FPS with frame generation doesn't lead to a great experience.
Interestingly, it seems that AMD FSR 3 frame generation brings slightly better performance than NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Frame Generation in Starfield. As seen in the comparison by D71 Gaming, at 1440p resolution on an RTX 4070, both average FPS and 1% low values are slightly higher with AMD's tech.
AMD FSR 3 support is only one of the many additions made by the Starfield 1.9.67 update, as it also adds support for Intel XeSS while addressing select issues. The update is currently available in beta and will officially launch on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date.
Starfield is now out on PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. While waiting to see if the game will indeed launch on PlayStation 5 in the future as rumored, you can learn more about it with my review.
