The hype train for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was kicked up a gear last week as an extended look at the sequel was shown off during PlayStation's State of Play. The epic second chapter in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy was also given a release date of February 29, 2024. If five more months is too long to wait for more from the series, Square Enix is offering up the opportunity to shave a month off that time and experience some of what the game has to offer early.
Starfield Already Has Its First Funko Pop, Available For Pre-Order Now

This week is one of the bigger ones during what has been a massive year for video games. That's because not only will Starfield reviews start dropping today, but the rest of us, or at least those of us with early access, will be able to start playing it ourselves starting on Friday. If you don't have early access then Starfield launches on September 6, and from that point on, everyone who wants to can explore the more than 1,000 planets Starfield has to offer and it's all anyone will be talking about for the next few weeks.
There have been plenty of indicators that Bethesda and Xbox have the utmost confidence in Starfield, and below is one more. Even though Starfield hasn't even been released at the time of typing this, it already has its first Funko Pop! figure. One look at Vasco, the RPG's companion robot, and you can see he's perfect Funko Pop! fodder, hence everyone involved in its creation not being able to help themselves.

I don't actually know much about Vasco because, well, I haven't even had the chance to meet him myself yet. I'm assuming those of you who plan to dive into Starfield head first will be seeing a lot of him. Xbox is banking on you not getting sick of him though, hopeful that you'll want to own a physical Funko version of the robot to sit alongside you on your journey.
Vasco is the exploration robot those of you playing Starfield will be seeing a lot of. Xbox and Bethesda are also banking on you liking Vasco as it turned the character into a Funko Pop! figure before Starfield had even been released.
The Funko version of Vasco won't be able to join you on any expeditions just yet. Even though the Pop! can be pre-ordered right now through the link above, the figure won't be released until 2024. Again, Xbox showing a lot of faith in Starfield as it's clearly banking on what might well be Bethesda's most ambitious game to date being played for months, and let's be honest probably years, to come.
Bethesda does have a good track record in that regard. It has been well over a decade and a lot of people continue to play Skyrim. Starfield might well put a stop to that as it's only a matter of time until someone mods the entirety of Skyrim onto one of Starfield's barren planets. With hundreds of them to fill, modders are going to have a (Star)field day.

Knuckles Controller From PDP's Realmz Sonic Figurine Collection Up For Pre-Order
PDP revealed a collection of very special Nintendo Switch controllers last month. Its Realmz collection. Each Realmz controller has an iconic video game character trapped inside.
