Star Wars Outlaws-Themed Xbox Controllers Revealed

Ubisoft's is set to be a major entry in the first-person arena shooter genre, leveraging the publisher's recognizable properties into a fast-paced, competitive crossover. Originally revealed as, the famed branding was later dropped following backlash, with the game hosting factions from and in addition to those pulled from,, and. The free-to-play FPS releases May 21, 2024, at different times in major regions, though every platform seems to be getting the game concurrently.

Ubisoft has provided extensive updates on its upcoming titles for the fiscal year, primarily Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws. In its full-year 2023-24 earnings release, the publisher confirmed that both titles would receive “updates” at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th.

Almost two years after Ubisoft and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora studio Massive Entertainment announced that it was working on an open-world Star Wars game, they officially revealed Star Wars Outlaws during last summer’s Xbox Games Showcase. This crime caper will be set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and will put players in the role of an aspiring scoundrel trying to pull off the biggest heist in the history of the Star Wars criminal underworld.
