The worlds of Tarot and may not seem like they have much in common but one talented fan has found a way to unite them with a collection of gorgeous cards themed around Ghost-Types. Whether it's the inherently spooky nature of the creatures or their generally decent stats and abilities, Ghost-Type Pokémon have always been popular amongst the community. Nothing may top the love people have for Pikachu, but Gengar, Mimikyu, and Aegislash have all garnered passionate fans who can now see them immortalized as stunning predictions of the future.
Posted to Reddit by user zanevikart, the creator shared their in-progress artwork of a Tarot deck themed after Ghost-Type Pokémon and the cards themselves are gorgeous.
Receiving plenty of compliments on the pieces and thousands of upvotes, the artist noted that the pictured Pokémon are some of their favorites and elaborated that they have plans to include even more, including Chandelure and its entire evolutionary line. Zanevikart states that they don't currently have any plans to sell the pieces but they'd be open to looking into if it's possible to do without The Pokémon Company coming down on them.
Aside from the clear artistic talent on display in the Tarot cards, some of the match-ups are inspired. Based on some of the Major Arcana, the use of Mimikyu as The Fool works since the Pokémon is known for masquerading as Pikachu, albeit poorly, causing many to initially think it was a ghost wearing a sheet. Aegislash as Justice is also an excellent pairing given the Pokémon's appearance of a floating sword and shield, symbolic of law and order in equal measure.
One iconic Ghost-Type type that doesn't have a dedicated Tarot card just yet but does make small appearances of others is Giratina, a Legendary Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games Eagle-eyed fans can spot the Ghost/Dragon-Type as a frozen statue with a broken wing in the background of The Lovers card while The Magician card displays Giratina's red eye inside Hoopa's ring. It also appears that the Pokémon's shadowy silhouette can be identified in the background of The Wheel of Fortune alongside several other creatures like Marowak and Shedinja.

While may have come to an end, that doesn't mean its cast of characters can't go on any further adventures. Following the announcement that Larian Studios won't be developing any DLC for its critically-revered RPG, the community was understandably disappointed that they wouldn't be able to spend any more time with the likes of Astarion and Shadowheart. Fortunately, due to the game being an official part of the universe, there will seemingly be more opportunities for the characters to return either in a sequel or a different medium entirely.
An inspired pasta-themed redesign of Tangela by a Pokemon fan is gaining traction for being clever and cute at the same time. The tasty makeover wouldn't look out of place alongside other food-themed Pokemon found in the series, either.
Neil Newbon, the beloved actor being Astarion in makes his return to the world of albeit in a very different role. While Newbon has had a prolific career behind the microphone, his most popular character is undoubtedly the vampire rogue in Larian Studios' RPG for which he even earned the coveted Best Performance award at The Game Awards 2023. While he may not be returning to play Astarion in the near future, he's still doing some rather exciting with Wizards of the Coast on its ever-popular fantasy game series.
may offer players an assortment of abilities and tools to destroy their enemies but a Rogue skill is easily one of the best in the game and one dedicated fan just made it even stronger. Unlocked as early as Level 1, the Sneak Attack skill allows sneaker characters to deal an additional 1d6 damage to a foe they have Advantage against or when an ally is within 5ft of their target. It's remarkably simple to set up and while it's already an extremely potent way to dish out pain, a new mod has made it even better.
Johnny Silverhand is one of the most popular characters in so players wishing they could hang out more with Keanu Reeves' rockstar are in luck because a new mod makes him far more social. In the vanilla version of CD Projekt Red's RPG, the projection of Johnny's consciousness, which is embedded in protagonist V's head, appears throughout the story to both offer advice to players and just offer his thoughts on the current state of Night City. Unfortunately, those wanting to relax with Silverhand can only do so in V's original apartment, even if they own other properties.
finally unveiled players' first look at the long-awaited Arena mode that will allow Trainers to battle it out by sending their team of Pals into the fray. While the game mode had already been announced in Pocket Pair's roadmap for the open-world survival game, the studio parted the curtain on how it'll function, spotlighting a system that, as can be expected, looks very similar to. Given that combat already plays a major role in 's core gameplay loop, the decision to add in an Arena mode simply feels like an extension of the already-existing mechanics.
players disappointed by the inability to play as a «mean» character shouldn't miss out on some key interactions as one fan points out the best way to be a real bully. While Portkey Games' expansive open-world RPG does provide an authentic recreation of the ever-popular Wizard World, it's debatable how successful it is when it comes to role-playing. Despite a massive map and plenty of character customization, the game is largely insistent that players are, at the very least, polite, but that all goes out the window when one specific NPC is around.
fans waiting for the 1.6 Update to arrive on consoles and mobile devices will need to wait a little longer but don't worry because development is progressing smoothly. One of the biggest releases of 2024 so far has been the latest major patch for ConcernedApe's beloved farming RPG and the community couldn't be more thrilled with all the extra additions. Having said that, those who don't happen to play the game on PC have been waiting for some kind of news regarding when the update will hit mobile and consoles.
Building one's own ship in may just be the game's best feature so one talented player managed to create a design that evokes the energy of one of Disney's most underrated animated movies. Embedding itself in an aesthetic developer Bethesda Game Studios describes as «NASA-punk,» the look and feel of is very much grounded in a more realistic take on the future. Yet sometimes, it pays to look to the past for inspiration, even if the result is somewhat unconventional by the standards of sci-fi.
A talented Pokemon fan online has shown off an impressive piece of artwork, which gives the legendary Mewtwo a new look inspired by the Vikings. The never-ending creativity of the Pokemon community is always surprising, with this latest piece showcasing exactly why that's the case.
An observant may have just figured out why CD Projekt Red doesn't allow players' characters to wear long-sleeved shirts while walking around Night City. While it may have initially been assumed a bug, has never allowed V to properly wear a shirt with sleeves that cover their forearms, automatically rolling them up whenever the inventory screen is exited. The community has long believed this to be a glitch since looking at their characters in the game's menus shows them with their arms covered, suggesting it was simply something that would be patched.
may be a game known for its peaceful energy and wholesome characters but introducing multiplayer can result in some hilariously dramatic stories. As players progress through the game and befriend the many citizens of Pelican Town, they'll eventually have the option to date and marry their preferred NPC. That generally goes off without a hitch but when playing in co-op mode, some wires can be crossed, sparking chaos and drama that belongs on the set of a soap opera.
