Black Salt Games’ Dredge has made a big impression despite its release in a packed year. The fishing-meets-cosmic horror title garnered critical acclaim shortly after launch and has received significant updates. In a new interview with Game Developer at PAX Australia, producer Nadia Thorne and 3D artist Mikey Bastiaens confirmed it sold over one million copies.

You Will Die Here Tonight is as interesting as it sounds. The name is eye-catching, but the gameplay and premise are even more so. If you take a look at any of the game’s screenshots or trailers, you may notice a nostalgic chill go down your spine. Developer Spiral Bound Interactive created its debut game as a “love letter” to beloved classics, including the first two Resident Evil games and The House of the Dead. The developer has just revealed You Will Die Here Tonight’s specific release date, and it’s right on time for the most spooktacular holiday.

Hype has been steadily building for the imminent arrival of the Meta Quest 3, but an industry analyst has poured cold water over the impending launch with some shocking allegations about expected sales figures for the VR headset.

InThe Witcher and Cyberpunk, CD Projekt RED has two IPs under its belt that have massive selling power, and the developer has illustrated just what that looks like in pure numbers.

Cyberpunk 2077 recently saw the release of its highly anticipated expansion, Phantom Liberty, and a subsequent resurgence of players. CD Projekt Red also dropped the game’s massive 2.0 update, resulting in an even larger spike in members of Cyberpunk’s active fanbase. This isn’t the developer’s first behemoth though, as the team previously released other banger RPGs like The Witcher 3 and its predecessors. With such an impressive list of launches up its sleeve, CD Projekt Red has revealed a whopping total of over 100,000,000 million games sold.

Along with the announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 topping 25 million copies sold, CD Projekt RED also confirmed strong sales figures for Phantom Liberty. After launching on September 26th, the expansion sold three million copies in its first week on consoles and PC.

Today, CD Projekt RED shared several Cyberpunk 2077 news during its Investor Day. First and foremost, the base game has sold 25 million units to date, while the recent Phantom Liberty expansion sold three million copies just in the launch week.

And the main game has climbed to 25 million copies sold.

The FIFA franchise never failed to be a commercially lucrative one for EA, and that hasn’t changed even though its name has. EA Sports FC 24 launched worldwide last week, but was available for a week before that, with owners of its Ultimate Edition being granted early access.

Indie developer Dang is shutting down despite its first and only game, the rip-snorting boomerang FPS Boomerang X, getting pretty great reception across the board.
