Sea Of Stars DLC Might Connect More With The Messenger

If there’s one that recent weeks have taught us about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Square Enix’s second part in the remake trilogy, it’s the sheer size of its world. Final Fantasy 7 Remake was a bit more confined due to its chapter-wise setup and Midgar setting, but Rebirth goes much bigger and employs a seamless map.

Sailing in Sea of Thieves has always had an inherent level of risk. Not only do you have to worry about skeletons, ghost ships, and sea beasts, but other players have been known to roam and hunt for prey. There’s a consistent PvP element to most parts of the game, and it gives the otherwise cheerful world a tense edge. Today, Rare announced that Season 10 of Sea of Thieves will offer a chill game mode as an alternative: Safer Seas.

Sea of Thieves is finally adding private servers, something players have been asking for since the game launched back in 2018.

However, online servers will remain active.

The expansion takes place one year after the events of Tales of Arise and follows a young girl named Nazamil as the main party of six find her by chance. The story will also explore what the party has been up to since.

It looks like The Elder Scrolls 6 won't be releasing until 2026 at the very earliest, and our PlayStation pals are likely going to be missing out entirely.

EA has now confirmed that The Sims 5, or Project Rene, will be free to play, and while it will still sell content packs, the game could also launch with features traditionally locked behind Sims DLC.

In an interview with Famitsu, Starfield lead and Bethesda frontman Todd Howard stated that the game's mod support «will be available next year» (obtained via machine translation), which likely refers to Starfield's equivalent to the Creation Kit modding tools for Skyrim and Fallout 4.
