According to a recent leak, Persona 6 will feature dual protagonists and a DLC that may allow players to take flight. These new Persona 6 tidbits surfaced on a forum courtesy of a well-known Atlus leaker, who has a track record of sharing insider information about the upcoming mainline entry in the Persona series.
While the game hasn't been officially announced, there's been no shortage ofPersona 6 rumors from various sources, including speculation about a possible release window. Since all this information is unofficial, nothing has been confirmed, and it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, considering the track record of these insiders regarding Atlus games, the leaked information is worth pondering, especially when multiple sources corroborate each other.
The prominent leaker Head on the Block once again took to the ResetEra forums to spill details about Persona 6 concerning the game's characters and DLC. According to Head on the Block, Persona 6 will feature two main characters. One will have a name starting with «K,» while the other will begin with «S.» The leaker further mentioned that the game will allow players to control a woman, suggesting that the two main characters may represent different genders. However, shortly afterward, Head on the Block stated that «the main character is not a woman,» leaving everyone puzzled. In the same post, they commented that players would be unhappy with the quantity and type of planned DLCs.
Head on the Block mentions that the game will have numerous DLCs for customizing, including one allowing players to fly. Assuming the leaked information is true, one may conclude that the two main characters will be male. Still, Persona 6 will have DLC where players can control a female character outside and inside dungeons. Persona 3 FES was the only mainline game in the series to offer the option of playing as both male and female protagonists, a feature removed in the remake. The producer of Persona 3 Reload explained why there is no female protagonist in the game.
In the same forum, another user questioned what the color palette of Persona 6 would be, to which the leaker responded with green. Head on the Block stated that the game's theme will be black and white, symbolizing two sides, with activities varying depending on day or night. Since then, no other leaker has corroborated Head on the Block's claims, raising red flags about their information.
Meanwhile, Nate the Hate commented on the latest episode of the DirectXbox podcast that Persona 6 would arrive on Xbox, although he couldn't confirm whether it would be a simultaneous release with the PlayStation version. He also mentioned that it's unlikely for a mainline game of the scale of Persona 6 to come to
