Reitemized Dungeon Loot Datamined in Phase 3 Season of Discovery

Red Hook Studios' 2023 roguelike dungeon crawler Darkest Dungeon 2 is officially coming to PS4 and PS5 consoles on July 15. The sequel to 2016’s award-winning game known for its punishing difficulty and well-executed gameplay, Darkest Dungeon 2 was initially released only on PC. But like its predecessor, it seems that the game will gradually be doled out to other platforms as well.

The War Within features eight new dungeons including 4 Level-Up dungeons and 4 Max-Level Dungeons. We have our first look at all the encounters in each dungeons and raids, including all of the NPC abilities!

We've datamined the War Within Mythic+ dungeon rotation for Season 1 which includes the return of Shadowlands Dungeons and Siege of Boralus. The War Within marks the return of Shadowlands dungeons to the Mythic+ dungeon pool, with 2 returning in Season 1. Cataclysm's Grim Batol is returning as well, as well as the dreaded Siege of Boralus from Battle for Azeroth.

Diablo's 31st Season, Season of the Forbidden Archives is now available for play! While there isn't much for Patch Notes, this Season is one that is beloved by players. During the Season of the Forbidden Archives, Kanai's Cube will be entirely unrestricted! Diablo 3 Season 31 Patch Notes When selecting Legendary Powers in Kanai's Cube, you will be able to use any combination of Legendary Powers you wish! This means that you will be able to select 3 Weapon Powers, or 2 Jewelry Powers and 1 Armor Power, etc — instead of the standard 1 Weapon, 1 Armor, and 1 Jewelry Power. This restriction being removed allows for many wacky and wild combinations and the reemergence of some incredibly off meta builds.

In the Public Test Realm for Patch 1.4.0 of Diablo 4, countless items, skills, and stats were heavily altered to prepare the game for its fourth Season, as well as to pave the way for the upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion. In addition to many of these changes, Implicit Affixes on Weapons have been adjusted as well. These are the fixed Affixes that are tied to the Weapon Type that cannot be altered, such as Vulnerable Damage on Crossbows and Critical Strike Damage on Swords. Many of these Affixes have been reduced significantly, and while it hurts to lose damage output from a change like this, it is a necessary change. Reducing these values along with other changes in Itemization will go a long way toward reducing the bloated damage values that affect the game negatively. By allowing players to deal millions upon millions of damage in a single hit, the sense of scale and player power is lost. On top of that, balancing gameplay becomes much more challenging — thus, it's only natural that Implicit Affixes receive some tweaks at the same time as the rest of the Itemization rework.

Darkest Dungeon II is getting a free update, Kingdoms, later this year that will add a new campaign game mode. 

In the upcoming Season 4 of Diablo 4 players will be able to filter by Item Power. Players may use the search bar and enter a number to filter out for that specific Item Power. In addition, when you search for an item with any filter or search query, the number of matching results will appear on the individual Stash Tabs!

With Light's Grace finally found in Phase 3 Season of Discovery, players have discovered all locations of the new Class Runes! Darkest Dungeon 2 is adding a new Kingdoms mode to the game. The turn-based roguelike game released in early access in 2021 with a full release in 2023. Reviews noted that Darkest Dungeon 2 featured a strategic and difficult but ultimately satisfying gameplay loop. In addition, Darkest Dungeon 2 received praise for having stylish visuals, blending 3D and 2D into a brutal, gothic, fantasy aesthetic.

As Diablo 4’s first PTR week comes to an end, players almost unanimously agree — next Season’s itemization overhaul is a big win! However, the upcoming changes have raised an interesting question: are Rare items going to be useless? Diablo 4 Season 4 Elixir Revamp Recruiting Diablo 4 Rogue Writers In the Season 4 PTR, Rare items only dropped with 2 random Affixes, while Legendary items always dropped with 3 Affixes. If this continues to be the case during Season 4, then Legendary items will always have greater potential over Rares.

As players continue exploring the PTR, the massive itemization changes coming to Diablo 4 in Season 4 are at the forefront of everyone's minds, but here's something you may have missed — Gems have received a refresh in preparation for the upcoming season!Amethyst, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz will now grant Primary Stats when socketed into Armor, boosting Strength, Dexterity, Willpower, and Intelligence respectively. With the PTR for Diablo 4's Season 4 ending this Tuesday (4/9), and a handful of important interactions still being bugged and non-playable, some players have rallied behind the desire to extend the PTR to identify and provide feedback on additional bugs. Adam Fletcher, Global Community Development Director, went to X (formerly known as Twitter) to respond to players' curiosity: While some players might feel as if their concerns are being ignored, don't! It's important to recognize there are likely many aspects of gameplay Blizzard is looking for data and feedback on, besides the issues the community is zeroing in on. D4 Forum community member boltbane also raised a good point — if Blizzard thinks it's necessary, there's still plenty of time for another PTR before Season 4 officially launches on May 14.
