The 2024 update roadmap for PUBG: Battlegrounds has been revealed.
In a 24-minute video, the game’s developers shared a number of new features set to be added to the free-to-play battle royale game over the course of the year.
One of the main announcements was the addition of destructible map environments, which will “add a dynamic new layer of strategy and tactics to the game”.
Other announcements include gunplay updates every two months, new content and collaborations, matchmaking improvements and overhauls to Rankng mode.
Future plans are also being put in place for a transition to Unreal Engine 5 and the addition of user generated content.
