For those looking for a change of scenery with their controllers, Sony has announced a new stylish addition to the DualSense wireless controller family, the Sterling Silver DualSense for PS5. This luxe makeover arrives as part of the PS5's "Deep Earth" DualSense series, joining the Cosmic Red and Midnight Black colors. While those controllers aimed to go for a space exploration/night skies kind of vibe, the Sterling Silver opts for a more refined, premium aesthetic.
Let's talk about the Deep Earth Collection for a second, though. It's been Sony’s way of giving us designs that make our gaming corners look like they belong in a fancy tech magazine. Featuring earthy, premium tones and top-notch materials, this collection has been a hit from the get go, and the Sterling Silver model fits right in.
Coming to the design, the Silver's design features an overall monochromatic look, with the front shell, back, handles, buttons, sticks and touchpad sporting a lustrous silver color. The symbols and outlines on the buttons and d-pad are detailed in slim black, providing just enough contrast for easy visibility against the bright silver backdrop.
