Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown Will Get Demo Soon, Leaked Trailer Says

Starfield will receive updates "roughly every six weeks starting in February" if Bethesda hit their target, according to an end of year wrap-up. "These updates will include everything from quality-of-life improvements to content and feature updates," including previously mentioned city maps, mod support and new methods of travel.

Ubisoft Montpelier’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a 2.5 side-scroller in the long-running series, has finally gone gold. The game’s official Twitter announced the same, with the developer stating it can’t wait for players to “explore mythological Persia as Sargon.”

New details recently arrived on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and its first 3-4 hours following a recent round of previews from various outlets (including our own), and to further drive up the hype surrounding the game’s imminent release, Ubisoft has published its own extensive preview as well, showcasing plenty of gameplay footage and revealing new details.

Ubisoft Original Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has crept up, releasing 18th January on PS5 and PS4, bringing the series to an entirely new generation after a 14-year hiatus. At The Game Awards, we were treated to a story snippet and a playable demo, and now we've got an expansive overview trailer to gush over.

Recently we went hands-on with Ubisoft's upcoming Metroidvania, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It's slashing its way onto PS5 and PS4 in January, bringing the series back to PlayStation for the first time since 2010. But after all this time, how is this latest adventure shaping up? And will it be worth that 14-year wait? Well, from our two hours with the game, we'd say fans of the series have a fun and vibrant adventure on their hands, and we personally are looking forward to jumping back into it.

Brutal. When you're a gamer who regularly tries to sink or swim in the deep end of difficulties, like I do, that word is one of the most complimentary you can use. And I've got to say it: after a 3-hour blind run into the Immortal difficulty of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it has all the makings of being deliciously, refreshingly brutal.

Ubisoft recently dropped a five minute gameplay overview for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the latest entry in the long running Prince of Persia action-adventure series, this time in 2.5D.

The Prince of Persia has had it rough in the past few years. Following the release of the 2008 game, which rebooted the franchise for the second time and its direct sequel, the series has been pretty much dormant, with Ubisoft releasing only some minor titles. The indefinite delay of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for one of the longest-running series still active today.

I recently had the opportunity to dive into a roughly three-and-a-half-hour hands-on preview of the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and I had no idea what to expect.

Open your map in Starfield and you won't see much more than a height map, even in cities. If you want to then travel around, you're limited to walking huge distances when on planet surfaces and using fast travel spaceship hops when in outerspace.

Prince of Persia has a long history, but there hasn’t been a mainline game for some thirteen years. You have to go back further than that to find a really good one, whether it’s the pleasing 2008 open world reboot, or 2003’s The Sands of Time, which I personally feel represents the best of the franchise. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is looking even further back for its inspiration, though. Rather than being a third person action adventure, it is actually a side-scrolling action adventure, similar to the original that was released in 1989.
