The infamous Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider has been found in Phase 2 of Season of Discovery!
Players have reported that the mount drops from Mekgineer Thermaplugg, the final boss in the new Level-Up Raid Gnomeregan. Some players saw it drop as a BoE and even tried selling it on the Auction House, but Blizzard quickly Hotfixed it and made the mount be BoP.
Have you ever heard the tragedy of the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider?
In case you have slept since then, the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider earned its fame after a player back in Vanilla accidentally deleted his normal Mechanostrider mount and submitted a ticket about it. The GM that responded to the ticket then mistakenly sent the player the unobtainable Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider.

So far, 2024 has been incredibly solid with its big AAA releases. Multiple companies like Atlus, SEGA, Capcom, and Square Enix have been dropping quality titles for gamers to enjoy. And then, there’s Ubisoft, who has been trying to spin the release of Skull and Bones into something positive. Their pirate-themed multiplayer adventure title has been in development limbo for years, and then when the beta finally released, it didn’t exactly spur people to try it out for full price. Ubisoft has been going overboard, pun intended, to sell it as a AAAA title, which many know by now to be nothing more than a puffery statement.

Blizzard is implementing the Discoverer's Delight experience buff starting the week of March 5 for leveling characters, providing a 100% bonus up from 50% experience bonus in Season of Discovery. This buff was first introduced as a 50% experience bonus for leveling players, and with this update, the experience bonus will be increased to 100%. This should allow players to level to the current cap of 40 much faster, experiencing new content such as the Gnomeregan raid.
In today's Developer Update, Blizzard announced that they will be reducing the cost of racial mounts in Season of Discovery by half, starting the week of March 5. This was also the price of mounts during Season of Mastery and Blizzard previously changed that right before Phase 2's launch, to the community's dismay.

A smartphone’s battery is the least durable component out of the hundreds present inside that compact chassis, and its age will start to show after just a couple of years. Apple’s iPhone 15 series is no stranger to these degrading batteries, but thankfully, the company states that these cells are now more durable than previously estimated, thanks to the latest information provided.
Players have noticed there is an issue with Gnomeregan Raid Lockout changing to the new 3-day lockout, where some players were unable to do the current reset. Blizzard is currently investigating the issue and hopefully will have a fix implemented soon. As of today for NA Realms, Gnomeregan should have reset and will reset again in 2 days, matching the lockouts of Classic Era's Zul'Gurub, AQ20, and Season of Discovery's Blackfathom Deeps. This was explained previously in a Blue Post. The issue right now is, reports are coming in from players who raided on Monday in NA that they are saved to Gnomeregan and players who raided on Sunday or prior to that can enter the raid.

During Season of Discovery Phase 1, players thinking about Phase 2 were concerned that many of the mechanical bosses in the Gnomeregan raid would be immune to bleed and poison effects. If they were, that would invalidate many beloved runes and character specializations. Blizzard recently stated that none of the bosses would be immune but that some would have increased resistance to those types of effects. As usual Blizzard did not provide specific details, but now with the release of the Gnomeregan raid players have been able to figure out these resistances. Players have also made an unexpected discovery about the armor that Gnomeregan bosses have. The mechanical bosses have very high armor values — some even higher than Ragnaros from the level 60 Molten Core raid!
