Wildfrost is hitting mobile screens next month! Chucklefish is bringing its popular tactical roguelike deckbuilder PC game to Android and iOS. Developed by Deadpan Games and Gaziter, it was released on Switch and Steam last year. Keep reading to learn more about Wildfrost mobile.
In Wildfrost, you play a tactical game where the order of your cards is all that matters. Each card has a specific role in the battle, so every move matters. For example, actions like moving your cards or healing them don’t end your turn, but playing a card from your hand does.
When it’s your turn, the cards act from the inside lanes outwards. So, if you’ve got a card that can weaken the enemy, you’ll want to play it early to get the upper hand. Every adventure starts with a coin flip that decides your leader card. So, if Lady Luck always favours you, this game is for you.
There’s also a pet that serves as your rookie companion. You’ll gather a merry band of two to three more companions and flesh out your deck with a mishmash of attacks, buffs, debuffs and all sorts of magical items. You get three distinct main decks with different perks and sneaky tricks to give you unique frostbitten experiences.
Wildfrost mobile will have the same charming look as its original version. It’s fun, quirky and cute. If you want to know more about the game, head to their official website. On that note, why don’t you take a peek at the Wildfrost mobile trailer below?
Wildfrost is expected to drop on April 11th on Android (as per the info on the App Store). It will be free to play, which I think is great news. The game has good unlock systems and customization options, so it’s definitely worth giving a try.
