Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk DLC will release in December

It appears the next Subnautica game is diving deep sometime in early 2025. It’s been roughly two years since fans dove into the chilly waters of the series, and it feels like it’s nearly time to strap back into that diving suit once more. And then get eaten by a Reaper Leviathan.

The first round of previews for the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet expansion of the Indigo Disk has arrived, and many with hands-on experience with the game have been praising the more challenging battles. The expansion is supposedly much more difficult for average players, and many should expect more sophisticated tactics.

Trainer classes are an interesting feature that adds a bit of character to would-be bland battles. Without them, every Trainer would be indistinguishable from another, appearing as a fellow Gym challenger in different clothes.

When Pokemon Scarlet and Violet came out last year, it promised many things and delivered on pretty much all of them. One of the key things that the game delivered on was the open world you could enjoy and roam through however and whenever you wanted. There was also a three-pronged storyline that you could do in any way, depending on where your mood swung. When it was announced that Gen 9 would get a two-part DLC like Gen 8 did before, fans were interested and curious to see where things would go. But while there was a certain “style” and “quality” to the game, it did have a key flaw that many have noted.

Leaks are indicating that will feature more Paradox Pokémon in the DLC than have currently been announced, but this comes with a downside. Paradox Pokémon are one of the unique features of the Gen 9 games. Although any additions to their number are certainly welcomed, it is the circumstances through which they are obtained that may begin to pose problems for some.

With the arrival of the DLC for , several new creatures will be added to the game, in addition to a variety of returning creatures from previous Generations. In fact, the new and returning Pokémon in will significantly expand the number of monsters that Trainers will be able to catch when venturing through the Gen 9 games. While some will be added with the base content of the expansion itself, there may be a few that will come via limited-time events, much like Walking Wake and Iron Leaves for the base game.

While Generation 9 of Pokemon has made some excellent strides in quality-of-life features and a few other overall gameplay improvements, it has done little to revive forgotten features. With new regions come new gimmicks, and history repeats itself as new replaces old seemingly indefinitely.

If you’ve been keeping track of everything with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll know that Tera Raids are one of the big events that The Pokemon Company likes to do so that players can get rare Pokemon and have more opportunities to play with their friends. The newest event has been announced, and as ComicBook.com reveals, it’ll be centered around the fan-favorite Pokemon, Eevee! So if you’re a fan of one of the mascots for the brand, you’re going to have a good time starting on the 16th. But what things can you expect to find Eevee in?

There are several Pokémon missing in ’s DLC, even with the introduction of new creatures and the return of many fan favorites. The second expansion in the DLC pack will conclude the story initiated by the expansion and shine light onto the Terastal Phenomenon that occurs in the region of Paldea – even if a portion of the DLC is set away from it. The additional content will send players on an exchange program with Naranja and Uva Academy’s sister school in Unova, called Blueberry Academy.

The release date for ’s has been officially confirmed, and it is perfectly placed in the calendar. The confirmation of any new release will inevitably bring a fresh wave of excitement, and the release of is no different. The second half of ’s DLC has plenty in store for people to enjoy, and looks like it may be shaping up to be even better than
