PAYDAY 3 Peaked at 1.3 Million Daily Users; Starbreeze Apologizes for Server Issues

Mineko’s Night Market has been met with a mixed reception, as players have reveled in its charming art style and captivating narrative but have been frustrated by nagging performance issues on the Nintendo Switch. The cozy atmosphere of the game has often been marred by technical problems, including lengthy load times that test players’ patience and music stuttering that disrupts the immersion. The issues that plagued Payday 3 have now been fixed, according to developer Starbreeze.

This morning, Starbreeze provided another update on PAYDAY 3, the highly anticipated third installment in the cooperative first-person heist shooter game. Firstly, the Swedish studio said the matchmaking issues that plagued the game's launch were fixed thanks to a two-stage process. The matchmaking software was updated, and the infrastructure was upgraded with more regional nodes, improving redundancy across online services and increasing matchmaking speed in PAYDAY 3.

After a significant bug that granted an advantage to Player 1 was discovered in Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm Studios confirmed a patch was on the way. It was deployed yesterday but faced a “snag” that resulted in server issues.
