Palworld Sold 6 Million Units in 4 Days, Passes 1.5 Million Concurrent Steam Players; PureDark’s FSR3 Mod Out

Helldivers 2 continues to improve on its player figures. After easily topping God of War off the first spot when it comes to PlayStation launches on Steam, the cooperative sci-fi third-person shooter peaked at 155K concurrent users yesterday.

Despite some matchmaking issues at launch, Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 is performing well, with peak concurrent players on Steam hitting 155,926. The third-person shooter is also Steam’s top-selling game and PlayStation Studios’ most successful release on the storefront yet.

Helldivers 2 has started well on Steam, with a concurrent player record higher than any previous PC port of a PlayStation Studios game.

The juggernauts that are Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 just refuse to stop selling. The former is more than a decade old, while the latter launched nearly six years ago, but as is usually the case, both were, once again, big sellers for Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive during 2023’s final quarter.

The open world survival crafting game with monster collection mechanics had sold one million in eight hours, two in twenty-four, three in forty, five million in three days, and six in four days. What's even more impressive is that, according to Geoff Keighley, these sales are for the Steam version alone. They do not account for sales on the Microsoft Store via PC/Xbox, nor do they account for Game Pass player numbers.

The open world survival game sold a million units within 8 hours, got to 2 million later that day, hit 3 million and then 4 million within three days, before getting to the 5 million mark yesterday.
