Palworld Has Reached 25 Million Players in First Month of Release

Sea of Stars developer Sabotage Studio is teasing a couch co-op mode as its critically acclaimed turn-based RPG celebrates reaching five million total players.

Sabotage Studio’s retro-inspired turn-based RPG Sea of Stars launched in August last year and was met with widespread acclaim from critics and audiences. That acclaim and continued word of mouth has continued to attract an increasing crowd of players to the game in the months that have followed, and its player base has continued to grow.

There’s a reason why fans are mostly excited about the full unveiling of EA Sports College Football 25. I saw it at the 2023 Fantastic Fest, where Vera Drew was present to talk about the experience, but was careful not to address the question of whether her film might ever get a real theatrical run. But now, according to the poster, it’s “coming soon. Legally. Seriously.”
