Blizzard Entertainment has said that it still hopes to bring World of Warcraft to Xbox consoles one day.

In an interview with Windows Central, Associate Director Maria Hamilton and Executive Producer Holly Longdale discuss new content for solo and casual players coming in The War Within, from the introduction of Delves to their intent to revamp the Brawler's Guild!

World of Warcraft fans have begun noticing their characters sitting on the Warbands character select screen in The War Within alpha. Though a seemingly innocuous change, World of Warcraft players are excited to see what this new life breathed into the login screen could mean for the future.

Holly Longdale has released a statement noting that there is a new experiment soon which seems to be PvE focused!

After weeks of anticipation, World of Warcraft pulled back the curtain on Patch 10.2.6, titled Plunderstorm, which was highlighted by a new battle royale game mode that players can try out. The new game mode was kept under wraps by the World of Warcraft development team and is considered a limited-time event in which players can earn cosmetic pirate-themed rewards including outfits and more.

With March midway through, World of Warcraft pulled back the curtain on Patch 10.2.6 and revealed that the anticipated «Pirate Patch» would arrive on Tuesday, March 19. Though little remains known about the next World of Warcraft update, Blizzard stated that 10.2.6 would feature a limited-time event for players to try out.

In today's Patch 10.2.6 announcement, Blizzard confirmed that Dragonflight Season 4 will only launch «several weeks» into the patch cycle. This means that Season 4 will likely be released around late April.
