Blizzard Talks About the Possibility of Bringing World of Warcraft to Consoles

A creative Destiny 2 player has expressed their appreciation for the latest Dune film with a set of custom armor inspired by House Harkonnen soldiers seen in one of the film's most iconic scenes. Theirs is part of a new wave of custom Destiny 2 costumes replicating the looks of Harkonnen soldiers and characters like the Baron, Rabban, and Feyd-Rautha.

Destiny 2 players with an eye for fashion are creating new customized Guardian costumes themed after the game's Taken faction. Key to the costumes is the Superblack color shader, one of the main prizes from the free Destiny 2 Into the Light update, which Bungie released to keep players engaged with the game as they wait for The Final Shape expansion to launch.

World of Warcraft fans have begun noticing their characters sitting on the Warbands character select screen in The War Within alpha. Though a seemingly innocuous change, World of Warcraft players are excited to see what this new life breathed into the login screen could mean for the future.

The legendary DC Comics assassin Deathstroke has rallied to the defense of the Last City thanks to the efforts of a creative Destiny 2 player's customized costume setup. The costume uses Destiny 2 Titan armor pieces that are fairly easy to access, and cleverly repurposes pieces meant to evoke an entirely different crossover franchise.

Love for the Fallout series has spread into the Last City, as a Destiny 2 player has expertly recreated the look of an iconic Fallout: New Vegas armor set in the game. As with other Destiny 2 «cosplay» looks, the recreation employs the game's armor customization system, turning parts for a Titan Guardian into an NCR Ranger.

Nintendo has revealed a new line of merchandise based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom items, which include apparel, accessories and novelties, are available in Japan via Nintendo's online store, as well as stocked physically in Nintendo's superstores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

World of Warcraft recently teased a new feature for Warbands that would enable fans to bring their alts into Follower Dungeons. If this were to happen, players could clear certain dungeons with AI-controlled versions of their own World of Warcraft characters.

The soldiers of Super Earth have made major progress in the ongoing Helldivers 2 Galactic War by successfully defending a large number of planets from enemy assault. The feat hasn't been accomplished by the game's community since Helldivers 2 first launched in February 2024.

Atlus has announced that a new wave of merchandise items themed after its hit RPG Persona 3 Reload will have a practical purpose, namely disaster preparation and first aid. The special Persona 3 Reload kits will be sold in Japan through merchandise company Movic and launch in mid-2024.

World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale has revealed that the studio still has discussions about a possible console release for the MMORPG. Speaking to VGC in an interview, Longdale didn’t necessarily rule out a possible console release for World of Warcraft.
