While in the practice range, one Overwatch 2 player notices that the Junker Queen is the only character in the game to not have a blinking animation. The amount of playable characters available to use in Overwatch 2 continues to expand through various seasonal updates, such as the addition of the tank hero Mauga. Taking the base roster from the first game, Overwatch 2 began with a handful of new characters including the Junker Queen, a tank class character which quickly became one of the more popular character choices.
With an ever expanding roster of new characters, Blizzard included a newly revamped training area in Overwatch 2, allowing players to practice and hone their skills before jumping online. One of the newer additions was the practice range, which allowed players to hone their skills against various training bots, test out their ultimate abilities, or explore other parts of the map, including a firing range. The mode also allowed players to call in a practice buddy, essentially a character selector that can be used to select from any of the currently available heroes. While playing around with this feature, one Overwatch 2 player discovered a strange detail that only applies to the Junker Queen.
In a new post on the Overwatch subReddit, a user named LiliacRosee revealed a strange detail about the Junker Queen after viewing all character idle animations. In a short video clip, it seems that the Junker Queen is the only one, outside some of the Omnic characters, that does not actually blink at all. As the clip shows, after using the Overwatch 2 Practice Range practice buddy feature, Junker Queen simply stares straight ahead whether standing still or performing idle animations without ever blinking.
The strange discovery kicked off a ton of jokes inside of the comments, with many saying that the detail actually feels appropriate for someone like her and the other Junkertown residents like Roadhog and Junkrat. Others joked that the black makeup is actually just eye bags, while her red eyes were actually due to them being extremely dry from never blinking.
While the minor detail is odd, it isn't the first strange Junker Queen element found by the Overwatch 2 community. A few months after the game first launched, fans began to notice that the metallic kneepad on Junker Queen actually resembled Zenyatta's face, with many unsure if this was deliberate or a case of seeing something that's not actually there. The details of the kneepad seem to be more than a coincidence though, as it features the three dots on the Omnic foreheads, two slits for the eyes, though the scratched «X» mark isn't common, with many assuming that if it is an Omnic face, the «X» was likely added after by the Junker Queen.

Tiny, arguably insignificant details in Star Wars are like the final dusting of paprika on a freshly deviled egg. It may not be the most important aspect, but the whole experience wouldn't be the same without it. Today's example is no different, albeit perhaps less of a smoky paprika and more of a subtle turmeric.
The new Alone in the Dark arrives in only a few short weeks, and publisher THQ Nordic has dropped a new trailer, showcasing some of its unique features. Much like the classic Resident Evil 2, players can play through the game as one of two different characters, Edward and Emily, with the experience changing based on which one you pick. The trailer shows how even character interactions will change based on who you play as. We also get a further look at Derceto Manor and its colorful cast of characters – it seems like interacting with them will be what really sets Alone in the Dark apart from your typical Resident Evil wannabe fare. Check out the trailer for yourself, below.
An Overwatch 2 player has come up with a hilarious and ridiculous idea that would fit right in with the game's expected April Fools joke patch. Currently in its ninth season, Overwatch 2 has overhauled its competitive mode, resetting everyone's ranks and adding a new tier called Champion. The new season also brought some significant changes to the Junkertown payload map, adding several new pieces of large cover around the first payload checkpoint to give offensive teams a better chance against opposing Pharah and Widowmaker players.
Leave it to Star Wars fans to find details in places some might argue are better off unsearched. One observant viewer spotted a detail in Revenge of the Sith'sMace Windu death scenethat will likely leave many with uncomfortable mental images.
Look, when something anticipated is about to drop or come out? The last thing anyone wants is to get spoiled because they accidentally came across something online or heard someone talking about it. Another thing to consider is that many people get advanced copies of things like video games and thus are allowed to do streaming and various videos highlighting the product they got access to. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a week away from release, and the reviews for the title paint it as something incredibly special. But for Tetsuya Nomura, he wants to ensure that those with the title right now don’t spoil too much for those who don’t.
Bandai Namco surprised fans all over this morning with the trailer for the hotly-anticipated follow up DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree. I was fortunate to not only catch an early glimpse of the trailer, which also confirmed the DLC's release date for June 21, but also to sit down and talk with the man himself, Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki.
The long wait is finally over. We now have our first look at the upcoming DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, and it’s looking absolutely massive. The three-minute long trailer is packed with terrifying bosses, dazzling magic, and a whole lot that needs unpacking. So let’s jump right into it.
The Until Dawn movie cast is being speculated by fans of the video game franchise, who believe Jessica Riley actress Meaghan Martin hinted at a return for more than just the PlayStation 5 remaster.
One Fortnite player discovers an interesting and hilarious glitch that is capable of launching vehicles throughout the map and, depending on how fast the collision happens, sometimes outside of it completely. While it continues to be massively popular with players, Fortnite has evolved considerably from where it began as a Battle Royale experience in 2017. Not only has there been countless collaborations over the years, the game has added new maps, locations, weapons, and game modes over the years, which has gone a long way in keeping the community intact and the game feeling fresh.
