New Outdoor Zone Coming with Patch 10.2: The Emerald Dream

After many years and brief visits, players will finally be able to explore the Emerald Dream as an open-world area in Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream.
The zone will be based around Amirdrassil's roots and includes many different activities, including three new public events, which are linked to one another. Plus a new world boss: Aurostor, the Hibernating is available at the zone.
New Outdoor Zone: The Emerald Dream
A special seed, planted by Tyrande, has grown into a new World Tree and is on the verge of crossing over into Azeroth. Fyrakk and his forces, including his new allies—the Druids of the Flame, move among the roots of the World Tree, inflaming the Dream denizens as they attempt to tear into the Emerald Dream to infuse the heart of the World Tree with fire and use it as a conduit to spread eternal flames throughout Azeroth.
There is plenty of Renown to be earned with a new faction—The Dream Wardens. Help denizens of the Dream comprised of Keepers, dryads, druids, green dragonflight, and runebears to earn Renown and rewards.
New World Boss: Aurostor the Hibernating
Don't poke a sleeping bear! Too late. A new World Boss—Aurostor the Hibernating has been awoken from a deep slumber, and defenders must join forces to fight to put him back to sleep again for a chest full of rewards.

With the latest Patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream PTR build, 6 new mounts were added. These mounts show creatures seen in the Dragon Isles and the Emerald Dream, but they're translucent! The Emerald Dream is the newest zone players will explore in Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream. A vast and ever-changing spirit world that exists outside the boundaries of the physical world, the realm is housing Amirdrassil, the World Tree planted by Tyrande Whisperwind, with its seed crafted from the souls of Night Elves that perished during the Burning of Teldrassil. We come to the Emerald Dream to help defend it from the Primalist forces, led by Fyrakk.
