Ed Boon Wanted Each Character In Mortal Kombat 1 Voiced By A Big-Name Actor

If you know anything about Ed Boon, it’s not just that he’s a great creator and visionary when it comes to fighting games and their potential. You’ll know by listening to him that he’s a fanboy. Mortal Kombat 1 Won't Have Cross-Play At Launch

It's pretty much expected nowadays for the majority of the big fighting games to have some kind of cross-play support, what with them being primarily multiplayer focused experiences. Street Fighter 6 had crossplay at launch, as will Tekken 8 when that releases next year, but it seems like Mortal Kombat 1 fans will have to wait a little bit before they can go a few rounds with someone on a different platform.
