Mortal Kombat 1 – Ermac Joins Roster on April 23rd, First Gameplay Revealed

Mortal Kombat 1 has been very slowly dishing out post-launch content since release, adding characters such as Peacemaker, Omni-Man, and most recently, Ermac. However, creator Ed Boon has been keen to remind fans that there are plenty more cool additions where they came from, and after thanking fans for the positive reception to Ermac, Boon gave us a first look at the next character being added to the roster, Homelander.

The first gameplay footage for Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact has been revealed from a demo version of the game, although some fans don't seem to be too impressed with the graphics.

Mortal Kombat 1 players have discovered a secret Brutality for all characters that developer NetherRealm appears to have stealth-dropped into the game.

Iron Gate Studios has released its latest and most challenging region for Valheim yet with Ashlands. Available for public testing on Steam, the penultimate biome sports lava everywhere, the menacing Valkyrie and other horrors, though there’s new armor and weapons to make it worthwhile. A few Mortal Kombat 1 fans have discovered a fun new Brutality that seems to have been secretly added to the game. Brutality kills in Mortal Kombat 1 are some of the most satisfying ways to finish a match, and this new addition offers an exciting update to the game's combat.

While it announced details and sign-ups for the upcoming technical test, Hades 2 recently received some surprise gameplay from the build. Supergiant Games’ Greg Kasavin and Amir Rao are on hand, playing through the first area and showcasing new weapons, enemies and gameplay features.

A new rumor suggests that the next Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo fighter will be an alternate-timeline version of Scorpion, with Harumi Hasashi donning the iconic yellow ninja mask instead of her husband Hanzo. One of the biggest additions to come from Moral Kombat 1 is the Kameo system, which allows players to select a supporting character from a separate roster to assist in matches. Most of these secondary combatants are classic versions of existingcharacters from the original timeline, which Fire God Liu Kang rebooted at the end of Mortal Kombat 11.

Season 5 of Mortal Kombat 1 launches today, adding new content to the game’s Invasions mode.

NetherRealm’s latest DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat 1, Ermac, is now available in “early access.” Those who own the Kombat Pack can play him now, while others need to wait for his worldwide launch on April 23rd.

Mortal Kombat 1 is set to have a DLC update in just a few days bringing a new character to the game. The update is bringing Ermac to the game as a playable character. Last week some gameplay was released showing Ermac and other features. The character will be available for everyone on April 23.

Remember Mortal Kombat 1’s fourth season of Invasions? Regardless, Season 5 or the Season of Storms, is live and features a more distinct antagonist. It’s Dark Raiden, a corrupted and decidedly more aggressive version of the Thunder God seeking to destroy threats to Earthrealm. Check out the trailer below.

Like previous entries in the series, Mortal Kombat 1 is rolling out plenty of DLC fighters, with the game’s first “Kombat Pack” including Omni-Man from Invincible, Quan Chi, Peacemaker from Suicide Squad, Ermac, Homelander from The Boys, and Takahashi Takeda.
