While previously alleged for May, the gameplay reveal of Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is seemingly happening at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th. Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact First Gameplay Revealed

The first gameplay footage for Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact has been revealed from a demo version of the game, although some fans don't seem to be too impressed with the graphics.
We're only a few months into 2024, but it's already shaping up to be a pretty big year for anime gaming adaptations thanks to Sand Land, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, Jump Assemble, and even updates to older games like Xenoverse 2 and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections.
One of the biggest surprises of the year so far, though, was the announcement of a Hunter x Hunter fighting game by Eighting, the developers behind Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes, and even Marvel vs Capcom 3. Since the announcement, everyone's been waiting to see how Nen Impact would turn out.
Over on YouTube, anime gaming channel PS360HD2 posted 13 minutes of gameplay from Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact, which has apparently been taken from a demo version of the game. As most of us were expecting from an Eighting game, the gameplay seems very similar to other 3v3 tag fighters such as Marvel vs. Capcom 3, right down to the pre-match intros panning to the side as they begin.
The demo also suggests that the final game will have 16 playable characters in its roster. So far, we only know of six of those fighters, but it's definitely a smaller selection than most games.
Even after only seeing ten minutes of gameplay, Nen Impact looks like it's going to have a lot of the same greatness you expect from Eighting, both for casual and competitive play. That being said, it seems a lot of fans aren't happy with the game's more simplistic visuals, with some of the comments underneath PS360HD2's video comparing it to a PS3 or mobile game and pointing out how small the roster looks to be.
While more casual fans have called out Nen Impact for its graphics and roster size, the general consensus is that it looks to have great gameplay that will hopefully make up for those weaker elements. Considering Justin Wong said, "I played Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact for 2 hours and I wish I can play for 10 more hours", chances are looking good for that to be the case.
