Mortal Kombat 1 is set to have a DLC update in just a few days bringing a new character to the game. The update is bringing Ermac to the game as a playable character. Last week some gameplay was released showing Ermac and other features. The character will be available for everyone on April 23.

While Mortal Kombat 1’s main roster consists of revamped versions of classic characters in a brand-new timeline, the secondary Kameo fighter line-up contains the time-displaced original versions of combatants from across the old Mortal Kombat games. These older incarnations can be summoned to help the player during matches, adding new combos and strategies to Mortal Kombat 1’s gameplay.
