Activision has released a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer trailer.
Viewable below, it shows off some of what players can expect to sample in the game’s upcoming multiplayer beta.
Activision plans to fully reveal Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer offering at the returning Call of Duty Next showcase on October 5.

The first of two Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer beta weekends will kick off the following day, and it will be available exclusively on PS4 and PS5.
The game will feature updated versions of all 16 launch maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2.
They are Afghan, Derail, Estate, Favela, Karachi, Highrise, Invasion, Quarry, Rundown, Rust, Scrapyard, Skidrow, Sub Base, Terminal, Underpass, and Wasteland.
A selection of the remastered maps will be included in the multiplayer beta, along with new Ground War experiences.
The game’s second beta weekend will support cross-play on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Thursday’s Call of Duty Next broadcast will also showcase Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode, the new Call of Duty Warzone map and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
Set for release on November 10, 2023, Modern Warfare 3 is a direct sequel to last year’s Modern Warfare 2. Development is being led by Sledgehammer, in collaboration with Infinity Ward, while Treyarch is in charge of its Zombies mode.
