In a major step towards protecting news publishers and content creators from copyright violations done by companies while training their artificial intelligence (AI) models, Electronics & Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the Indian govt is planning to formulate a new AI law. This development comes after the govt made it mandatory for companies to get a permit before rolling out their untested models, a decision that was highly talked about and ultimately revoked later on.

Samsung's next big step in the AI race is to add chips, cameras and WiFi connectivity to home appliances like washing machines, microwaves, refrigerators, air conditioners and more. Samsung has introduced its new range of appliances that are powered by AI and is calling this initiative the Bespoke AI platform which is powered by its own Tizen operating system.

Helldivers 2 just got two new heavy weapons for democratic soldiers to bring to the ongoing fight against the Automatons, spurred by a new Major Order to liberate Troost and head off the bots' "Reclamation." The LAS-99 Quasar Cannon and MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun are now available "for immediate battlefield distribution," as developer Arrowhead Game Studios announced via Twitter today. 

Helldivers 2 players have been issued a brand new Major Order, and it seems it's taking direct aim at all of the dedicated bug-squashing fans who aren't so enthusiastic about spilling oil from the deadly Automatons. 

A prominent Sega leaker with a reliable track record has revealed some more information regarding a possible Virtua Fighter reboot and the upcoming Streets of Rage Revolution. These two franchises are a part of Sega's initiative to bring back its classic IPs into the limelight and re-imagine them for modern audiences. A brief teaser trailer was shown at The Game Awards 2023, which highlighted new entries for classic Sega IPs like Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, and Streets of Rage.

Blizzard has posted hotfixes for today which nerfs the Afflicted and Incorporeal Mythic+ affixes.
