Militia to the gates, please - the Dwarf Fortress Steam edition's Adventure Mode beta is live

Whether you’re new to Destiny 2 or haven’t played in a while, this could go down in history as the best month yet to hop in the game. From May 7 to June 3, Bungie is giving all players access to The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, and Shadowkeep expansions(plus Lightfall if you’re a PlayStation Plus member)along with the past four Seasons of content!

Vecna: Eve of Ruin is unlike anything yet published for the modern incarnation of Dungeons & Dragons. The final campaign for the original 5th edition rule set begins at level 10, far higher than some other published adventures reach over the course of their entire run. It then proceeds to top out at the system’s hard level cap of 20. That much experience will convert you and your party into magically infused, professionally trained killing machines. Trust me when I say that there will be plenty of opportunities to put those skills to work.

A Baldur’s Gate 3 player online is taking no chances in Honour Mode, summoning an army of 88 monsters to help them complete the game. Honour Mode in Baldur’s Gate 3 is considered to be the game’s greatest challenge, but this team composition would certainly make things a little easier to handle.

Do you know what dimidiation is? Unless you happen to be a scholar of medieval heraldry, you probably don’t. It’s an older method of combining two or more coats of arms into a single shield to denote a union of, say, two families. In dimidiation, the two coats of arms would be cut down the middle, so you might end up with a shield featuring a griffin’s head stuck to a horse’s rear. Later on, it became more common to simply feature the two coats of arms side by side (a practice known as impalement), which is less confusing and more aesthetically pleasing, but also less funny.

Fallout hype is truly inescapable at this point, with the TV show driving popularity and Fallout 4 even getting its long-awaited next-gen update (even if the latter has been considered rather disappointing by many). One way or another, everyone is trying to live their best post-nuclear apocalypse life right now, and this enormous mod for Fallout 4 looks like it'll enable us to do just that.

Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t receive any paid expansions, and Larian isn’t keen on developing a sequel, but that doesn’t mean fans can’t look forward to more updates. Patch 7 is in the works, and alongside the improved evil endings, with new cutscenes and music, it also marks the arrival of official modding tools.
