STORY

Taking place 40 years before the Heroes of Might & Magic V saga, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes tells the tale of five heroes scattered across five different regions of Ashan. Each must travel their own dangerous paths to grow in strength, unravel a demonic plot, and ultimately save their world from devastation.

The core gameplay holds up after all these years, yet other parts show how dated/lack of development compared to today's expectations.

Cons
- The writing is just passable enough to progress the story, although it's really an eye-roll at times... I did find a lot of the characters to be annoying to indifferent.

-The factions that you play as in the story surprisingly get worse??? Very odd design choice, but it's noticeable starting at act three, where you have to grind battles for experience points to level up. Necromancy faction feels very weak until you get a certain few artifacts and the better units. Then after that the demon faction feels also weak for awhile and same thing you have to grind battles.
