Terra Invicta launches on PC Game Pass and the Microsoft Store on March 26, publisher Hooded Horse has announced.
Terra Invicta is a sci-fi grand strategy game about dealing with an extraterrestrial invasion of the solar system. It launched in 2022 in early access form on Steam, where it enjoys a ‘very positive’ user review rating. Terra Invicta is developed by Pavonis Interactive, maker of the famous Long War mods for 2012 game XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
Here’s the official blurb:
Each of the seven factions comes with its own unique end goal and playstyle:
Terra Invicta has sold nearly 200,000 copies since launching in early access, with the average playtime sitting at just under 60 hours per person. Pavonis Interactive is currently working toward the game’s 1.0 release.
Terra Invicta joins fellow Hooded Horse title Against the Storm on PC Game Pass. The Hooded Horse-published Manor Lords, one of the most-wishlisted games currently on Steam, releases into PC Game Pass in April as a day-one launch.

Microsoft have announced April's new arrivals for the Game Pass subscription service, and it includes a cute game about being an alligator, a cute game about gardening, a cute game about fleeing a doomed planet in search of a new home among the stars, and also EA Sports PGA Tour, I guess.
Xbox Game Pass has confirmed all the games leaving the service on April 15, and unfortunately for fans of the genre, multiple horror games are on the chopping block. Games are removed from Xbox Game Pass every couple of weeks or so, with the departure announcements often coupled with the Wave 1 and Wave 2 new addition reveals to help soften the blow for subscribers.
While Xbox Game Pass is expanding with several new titles in April, the month is also a sad occasion for horror fans as several spooky games are set to leave the service. As Microsoft continues to support its subscription model with new additions every month, making room for some of the latest releases requires that older games be removed. It's all part of the Game Pass cycle but fortunately, enthusiasts for all things scary still have some time to check some of the best horror games ever made.
Microsoft has announced the next batch of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate stands out for offering a vast library of games playable across Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC at a monthly rate of $17. Subscribers benefit from monthly additions of new games, such as Dead Island 2, alongside perks like online multiplayer access and discounts on non-Game Pass titles. Recent additions to the service include NBA 2K24 and MLB The Show 24, with more anticipated titles like Diablo 4, marking the first Activision Blizzard addition to Game Pass. Check out the new games now available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Terra Invicta is available on PC Game Pass as part of the Game Preview program, starting today. This means Game Pass subscribers should be aware that this game is not necessarily finished, as developers continue to work on it based on fan feedback. However, Microsoft's subscription service is no doubt a great way to gather even more feedback, even if the game has been in early access of sorts since late 2022.
Xbox Game Pass members can play Evil West with their subscriptions starting today. Developed by Polish studio Flying Wild Hog, the action-packed third-person shooter is the tenth title to reach Xbox Game Pass in March 2024.
The Quarry is now available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The renowned survival horror experience is the ninth title to reach Microsoft's subscription service in March 2024, as well as the 36th Xbox Game Pass addition since the turn of the year.
Microsoft unveiled the batch of titles coming to its gaming subscription service throughout the back half of March. Quite a few awesome titles are making their way to the service, but by far, the most notable addition is Diablo IV, the first Activision Blizzard game being made available on Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft has revealed the titles they’ll be adding to Xbox Game Pass on PC and consoles in late March and very-early April, and it’s a pretty packed lineup. The headliner is Diablo IV, one of the first major Acti-Blizz games to jump to Game Pass following Microsoft’s acquisition of the publisher. Other notable additions include The Quarry, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, and the new-release indie game Open Roads.
Microsoft have confirmed the waves of games coming to Game Pass in late March and early April, headlined by the expected addition of Diablo IV. This is the first Activision Blizzard game coming to Game Pass since Microsoft's ridiculous $69 billion acquisition, with more due to follow. Beyond that, look forward to games including mech-riding farming game Lightyear Frontier and the colossal alien invasion strategy game from the XCOM Long War team, Terra Invicta.
