Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s New York Won’t Have the Chrysler Building Due to Copyright Issues

The fact of the matter is that people want to be playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 right now instead of having to wait several weeks for it. Granted, the game has gone gold, and people are happy that it won’t be delayed again, so there is that. But while the wait is shorter, it’s not short enough. As such, people are starting to look for any pieces of information that can help them satiate their desire for their title. It won’t be enough, but it’ll do for now. For example, on Twitter, someone was able to find out the start screens for the game, and they paint two very different pictures.

With a month to go until launch, developers Insomniac Games have announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2018 superhero hit, has officially gone gold and completed development, meaning it’s on track for its release next month, and fans can officially get hyped for its release.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is easily one of the more anticipated PlayStation 5 exclusives coming out. From the talented team at Insomniac Games, our next iteration of the franchise series is nearly here. Of course, there is always the fear that something would delay this game further back into the 2023 calendar year. However, that’s not the case because today, we got the official word that the development team has officially reached the fabled gold status for their game project.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is one of the biggest games left in 2023 that fans are dying to get their hands on. The title has been getting lots of information and trailers lately, and Insomniac Games isn’t afraid to “spill some tea” on what you might be able to see and do as you swing around the city. As gamers found out earlier this year, when you’re in the open-world setting of New York, you’ll have the option to swap between Peter Parker and Miles Morales. That’s important because not only is this game about both characters but there are tasks and missions specifically assigned to them.

Insomniac Games has revealed the time it should take to complete . The highly anticipated sequel seems to have much more for players to enjoy, from a New York map that's almost doubled in size with the inclusion of Queens and Brooklyn to the ability to play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, swapping between them instantly across the open world and optimizing a variety of gadgets and special abilities across both heroes.

No matter which graphical performance setting Spider-Man 2 players decide to opt for, ray tracing will be included as standard.

Insomniac Games has let slip a new trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 where they detail new gameplay changes show off a greatly expanded map for the sequel. The new map is significantly larger, presumably to accommodate all the new powers and to make room for two Spider-heroes swinging about at once.

Following the new Marvel's Spider-Man 2 trailer released during the latest State of Play broadcast, Insomniac Games opened the floodgates of information. We know the playable area is nearly twice as big as in the original game thanks to the addition of Queens and Brooklyn boroughs to the game's rendition of New York City, but does that mean the length is also increased in this sequel?
