Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the next exclusive for PlayStation 5 and follows up on Insomniac’s massively successful open-world superhero. The studio has steadily rolled out new posters for each character and some new images for New York City. While new gameplay remains to be revealed, it seems the world isn’t quite prepared for what’s coming.
At least, according to Jeremy Voillot, who works at PlayStation Studios as director of sound design. Posting on LinkedIn about working with Insomniac’s audio team, he praised them as a “wonderful and talented group of humans to get to work alongside.” “I’m not sure the world is quite prepared for what they are about to release upon it – it’s stunning, and in my humble opinion, their best work yet. Good luck getting to the finish line!”
The last major trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 revealed Harry Osborne and provided a better look at Venom, one of the antagonists. Set nine months after Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it sees Peter searching for a way to treat Harry and becoming entangled with the Symbiote. Peter and Miles are playable, and you can switch between them almost anytime.
