Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show launches this month

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show has been confirmed as the next DLC for strategy game, with Nintendo confirming it will be released on August 30th. This new DLC will add Rayman as a playable character, along with a new location called the Space Opera Network.
The Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC will add new vertical levels, with Rayman able to take Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario with him as he uses his haircopter. Space Opera Network is made up of a number of TV sets, with the Phantom as the director. The Phantom was an enemy in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, but has somehow wound up as a director of shows. David Gasman reprises his role as Rayman, and the soundtrack will be composed by Christophe Heral and Grant Kirkhope.
In our Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope review, Stefan wrote, “There’s a lot that’s new and different in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, creating a more freeform, looser feel to the game’s world exploration and combat alike. Not all of the changes stick the landing, but the drive to reinvent and evolve is admirable and this is still easy to recommend for fans of the original and turn-based tactics in general.”

After all, if your game doesn’t sell well and you don’t make a profit, then you won’t be able to make more games. However, as gaming fans will tell you, sometimes developers and publishers put too high of expectations on titles and then complain when they don’t meet the “high end” of those expectations.
