Earlier this month, Ryu Ga Gotoku confirmed that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name would be getting its previously announced English dub as a free update sometime this month. That update is available now, so if you’ve been holding out so you can play the game in English, now’s your chance to jump in.
Like a Dragon Gaiden makes a key change for the franchise where its English dubs are concerned, with Daryl Kurylo – who voiced protagonist Kazuma Kiryu in English dubs of the original Yakuza and Yakuza: Like a Dragon – being replaced by voice actor and YouTuber Yong Yea, whose performance has proven divisive among the series’ fans. Yea will also be voicing Kiryu in the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s English dub.
