There’s been a ton of fan-made content from the indie-hit Lethal Company, one of them being this jaw-dropping animated cinematic trailer.
I can’t imagine how long this took someone, but they’re clearly incredibly talented. You can go ahead and watch this nearly two-minute cinematic trailer that’ll blow your mind.
Now this makes me want a real Lethal Company animation. Revealed on the game’s subreddit, and garnering over 20,000 upvotes, the user “GibbsonTV_YT” really showcased some genuine talent with this professional-looking animated cinematic trailer.
With a touch of realism but still sticking to a cartoonish look, this trailer demonstrates everything players love about this multiplayer horror hit. It starts off strong, with a slow opening showing that creeping fear anyone has when first entering a building. You don’t know which monster will show up, until Coil Head suddenly appears and stops, just before it could take the one player.
It jumps from stunning an enemy, to bringing your fallen crew member to the company building, and goes right into the action by the last half. You’ll notice most of your favorite monsters appear, even the Ghost Girl and the Jester.
To no one’s surprise, all the replies are applauding the hard work this creator did. Some are even tagging the developer Zeekerss in hopes that he sees this video, but I’m sure that he has at this point.
When asked by one reply what software they used, the creator explained that it was all animated in Blender, but rendered in Cycles. They went on to say that they used a motion capture suit as well (Rokoko Smart Suit V2 precisely).
What’s even more incredible is by reading their YouTube channel description, I discovered that they’re an 18-year-old Canadian! To be so skilled at such a young age is wonderful to see, so please give GibbsonTV a follow.

HITMAN maker IO Interactive has lofty aims when it comes to the quality of gameplay animation they want to achieve in Project 007. The game developer is hiring animators, and the studio's Twitter account has shared a few statements from members of the Animation team to intrigue would-be candidates. Joshua Andrew Gleaves, Senior Gameplay Animator, said:
For some time now, fans of survival games have had their eye on Enshrouded, the new game from the makers of Portal Knights that’s a little bit Zelda, and more than a little bit Valheim. Well, following a Steam Next Fest demo, Enshrouded has officially launched via Steam Early Access. You can check out an Early Access launch trailer, below.
Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio are coming to the Nintendo Switch‘s successor, according to an Atlus insider.
There are many scary enemies in Lethal Company. I honestly don’t think that the Hoarding Bug ranks among them, but I recommend you don’t underestimate the pesky critters because they can bring unexpected problems to your playthrough.
I didn’t really do horror games before Lethal Company.
For the record, we didn’t plan two stories about items you can get for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to come in back-to-back days. Life decided to have a little fun with us, and we don’t mind. Yesterday, we discussed how Square Enix Reward Program members could get a special glitter globe featuring the Gold Saucer from the upcoming RPG. It was cute and adorable, and we’re sure some of you have already subscribed to the program so you can get it or are cashing in points to ensure you get it. But, if you’re looking for something a bit more “substantial,” then perhaps Amazon is where you go to get the game.
When it comes to video games, many who play them don’t just want the “memories” of playing them; they want items in the real world that’ll help them remember those memories in a different way. Pre-order items are a big deal in this respect, as people will pay out the nose to get unique items that can only be bought through these special deals. Square Enix decided to up the ante with the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth by offering its Reward Members the chance to get a special glitter globe featuring the Gold Saucer from the upcoming title.
Just like the gangly, spider-like monsters that scurry through its industrial corridors, Lethal Company appeared to come out of nowhere. Created by a solo developer who goes by the alias Zeekerss, the video game became an absolute sensation on platforms like Twitch and garnered more than 239,000 concurrent players on Steam within months of its October release.
Fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise have been waiting years to see what Rockstar Games was doing next in the upcoming installment. After the 2013 release of Grand Theft Auto V, the developers continued to support the online component. It was a big money maker for Rockstar Games as fans quickly took up with the latest title experience. However, after what felt like endlessly waiting, we were finally given the official announcement trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI last month.
Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is coming to PlayStation 5 next month, and Square Enix is kicking its campaign into gear with a brand new trailer and some new screenshots for the much-anticipated second installment in the planned remake trilogy.
Lethal Company took the gaming community by storm towards the end of last year.
